Ev points to Virtual PC 6.1 for the Mac. Essentially it allows you to run Windows apps on the Mac... it appears to be running Windows directly in emmulation mode. Ev also wonders why MS would produce such a product. It seems obvious to me - MS doesn't care what hardware you're using, they sell software. If you can buy WindowsXP and run it on your Mac, who cares?

I wonder if you can get infected with virtual worms and contract a virtual virus? I'm not trying to be funny... I wonder if the XP running as an app can produce the same problems for a Mac user as happens with the typical PC? I imagine damage would be contained within the VPC file structure but I don't know. Maybe this is a way for MS to point to the Mac and say, "Hey look, they're vulnerable too!". Maybe I am trying to be funny.
