View Article  Spam of the day
I gotta get back to work but before I do, I had to share this simple little free message I received a second ago:
Do you have a prescription from your doctor? Buy online from Canada. Thousands of p@tients are buying drugs online at a fraction of U.S. prices We adhere to strict guidelines and ethical standards to ensure you get the medic@tion you need.

We adhere to strict ethical standards? Is sending spam strictly ethical? I'm funny, I know.

I'm off a bit early today while I take my wife to see The Producers in L.A. I've heard good things about it but I know how grumpy I can be when dressed in more than a tank-top and flip-flops. Any review I may come back with should be taken with a [large] grain of salt.

PC World is reporting that Red Hat will drop its free Linux offering by April, 2004. I wonder what brand will takes its place among the small environments such as local ISPs and Web Hosters? The licensing for newer versions may end up being cost prohibitive. Hey, I wonder if FreeBSD will pick up any fleeing corporate clients?
View Article  Kickin search engine?
A kickin search engine probably shouldn't consist of one engine. Y'all remember the days of Metacrawler and other Meta search engines. The idea is to query several search mechanisms at once and analyze that data to provide good results. If I could get access to an API to the resultant data (including click history on results), I'd pay for access, just for myself. Sure, ads probably pay well. But I'd pay $49/month for access and that is much more than Google will ever make from me clicking on their AdWords. And all sorts of sub-businesses would crop up to address the issue. Yes, I can dream.
