Introduction To Motorcycles
Ben and Abby had a slow start today, mostly because I still wasn’t feeling well but also because the weather has been yucky. By afternoon time Abby had made her way to a friend’s place — I gave Ben a reprieve from his nap since it’s still tough without Mom around.
Matt came over on his little “fatboy” minibike and Ben could not keep his eyes off it. So Matt took Ben for a couple of cruises around the neighborhood.
On the first trip Ben was smiling but you could tell it was a combination of fear and thrill. The second trip was pure love and something I hope blossoms into a zest for outdoor activity. He was grinning ear to ear as Matt let him feel like he had more control of things. It’s so great to see a huge step take place with such a positive outcome.
