My “homies” for the last several years have been Ben and Abigail. Kerri is working today and the three of us are hanging out. We’ve had lots of motorcycle and scooter time outside as well as Play-Doh fun inside. Ben and I play catch with the football while Abby runs up and down the hill on either the motorcycle or the scooter. Some pics in the January 2005 album.

Nothing remarkable to note today but I suppose that in itself is remarkable. Abby’s friend (Abbey) stayed overnight so everyone fell asleep late and woke up early which would usually net a grumpy Ben and unruly Abs. But not today. Of course the day isn’t over yet but since Ben went down easily for his nap and Abby is taking a break (in the form of watching “The Sound Of Music”) I’m feeling confident about the rest of the afternoon. If they freak out later, I’ll have help from Kerri and may even abandon my parental responsibilities for a “me and the playoffs” session. Not sure about that just yet but I’ve got a hankerin for some pigskin and I betcha Kerri will write me a note.
