They apparently think so, according to an article from CNN:

“The more daylight we have, the less electricity we use“

Of course, I’m kidding a bit but the quote (which is a direct quote from Rep. Ed Markey) was too much to pass up. It seems that Congress wants to extend Daylight Savings Time by 2 months as part of an energy bill. I wonder how much this will affect the rest of the world. How much business is scheduled around our current system? Are some computers set to change based on a preset date? I guess we’ll see.
