Saturday with Dad
Kerri is working today so I’m hangin with the kids. I’d been doing a bit of “work” this morning and had to set down Ben after he ate breakfast so I could check my mail. You know that feeling when there’s not enough noise coming from where the kids are (like, something ain’t right)? That’s the feeling I got so I went inside and Ben had fallen asleep while sitting up. That’s a new one for me. Of course, rather than pick him up and put him in bed, I grabbed my 6 year old digi-cam and snapped the pic you see now. I’ve fallen asleep at my desk, on the couch, in my car and on the floor but never while sitting straight up. Well, except for that one time in college… Wait! I didn’t go to college. I mean, except for that one time in Cambodia… Wait! I was never in Cambodia. I mean… oh, never mind.
UPDATE: I just realized that my kids are the cutest in the whole wide world — How lucky am I?
