Abigail’s first experience with this long time treat tradition was a good one. Matt made her first one with a perfect, golden brown marshmellow. Of course, she had to take it apart and eat each piece individually. Kinda misses the point but she still doesn’t like her food mixed together.

I suppose I remember playing at the beach and never feeling the cold when I was a kid but nowadays I’m not so oblivious. The kids spent a lot of time in the cold water of the Central Coast.

We spent some time at the tide pools on the north end of the beach. They’re simply awesome when the tide goes out with tons of trapped pools and countless sea life. This little sucker was found in a shallow pool — I don’t know what type of fish he is but those teeth make [...]
