…I even contemplate voting for a Democrat for president and that is what has been crossing my mind.  In the 14 years since my voting ability came into play I have never voted for a Democrat in a Presidential election — But I have always tried to be open-minded so I can deal with non-conservatives who masquerade as Republicans and the reverse on the Democratic side. 

I agree with GWB on many issues but I strongly disagree with him on others (like the Patriot Act).  Then comes along a Joe Lieberman who is still a Liberal but somewhat sensible (on the surface) compared to his running-mates.

I’m not saying that I would vote for Joe, I’m saying that Bush doesn’t own my vote like he did in 2000.  In reading a bunch of “Conservative” zines, I’m not alone.  So President Bush, if you’re listening, don’t take me for granted… I do actually think from time to time and will not always vote party lines.  Check Glenn for a similar feeling.
