So much for lunch
I tried to sleep a bit so my brain would work but the damn gadener from next door had the selfish notion to work while I am trying to sleep. Where does he get off?
Also, some clueful person told me that I misspelled “crupe” in my earlier post. What? I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer but I know one thing… there is no such thing as misspelled or correct spelling. All one has to do is get letters together which look like they would sound out properly, especially given good context. For example, I saw some brainiac write about depression and referenced “psychology“. I was smart enough to know that he meant sycologee. I can accept typos and the author of that article must have slipped up and inserted the “p”. I have no explanation for the other portions. And another – an advertisement for a Garden Gnome… “Gnmoe!” Of couse it is generally accepted to be “nom” by the rest of us. Just because some girl named Merriam Webster thinks she is in charge of spelling things doesn’t make it right. Besides, she has errors all over her book:
| Error In Book | Correct Version |
| know | no |
| rhetorical | retorikol |
| knee | ne |
| who | hoo |
| because | bcoz |
| school | skool |
| lamb | lam |
| …and on and on. | |
So please, before you go telling me that I can’t spell, check yourself.
