Abs in Rana’s gift

| July 19, 2003

She loves the headwaer – It keeps her hair out of her eyes. Thanks Rana (and Pat + family too I would guess)!

Abs hanging on the couch

| July 19, 2003

She decided to spend nearly an hour playing with her softie teddy bear, treating it like a little baby. This was day two of Abs staying home from day care, after the lethargic, weeping eyes incident.

Go Towards The Light

| July 19, 2003

This isn’t the first time I’ve seen Abs play with our rechargable flashlight but I just noted that she chases the light pouring out. It reminds me of irritating a cat with one of those little laser pointers. You know how they go after it as if the light was a small bug on the [...]

Korean peninsula heating up?

| July 16, 2003

I hope not. Seems there was some machinegun fire exchanged at the DMZ between the north and south. Who knows what it means. Perhaps it was accidental/mis-interpreted reactive type stuff as was the case in 2001. But perhaps that maniac up north is trying to tighten the screws a bit. Again, I hope not. Reference [...]

Scott Allan In SoCal

| July 16, 2003

Scott decided to swing by for a night while he was in LA. This is the only picture I snapped the entire time… bummer.

| July 16, 2003

Scott Allan In And Out Of Town

| July 16, 2003

Scott blew through like a midwest summertime thunder storm. We stayed up and played chess ’til ~2:30am(PDT) and talked about the great and terrible things in the world. I’m sure we solved several problems but who can access working memory cells with the clutter of disoriented, half-dying brain matter all aboot (I meant about I [...]

Cannot Find Weapons Of Mass Destruction

| July 15, 2003

I’ve Seen this before but it is worth writing about for posterity. This is one of the funniest pseudo-404 error pages I’ve come across.

Carlos at the Bowl – Wow.

| July 14, 2003

It was pretty darn good tonight. Although he didn’t play too many older songs, this was the best I’ve heard, mostly because I could actually hear the guitar sing. Usually the guitar (the friggen reason anyone goes to see Santana) gets drowned out by the drums and assorted percussion instruments. I do like those too [...]
